Windows 10 update does not support Microsoft Jackpot saving account info to cloud

About three weeks ago I started seeing a window in Microsoft Jackpot that stated my coin balance could not be sync'd with the cloud and to check my internet connection. I use the cloud coin saving feature because I play Microsoft Jackpot on a few different
machines. I do not have nor due I experience bad or intermittent connections to the internet on any of the computers I play Microsoft Jackpot on. This has to be a cloud storage problem that occurred when one of the windows 10 updates came down the line. All
the PC's I play Microsoft Jackpot on are running windows 10. All of the updates have been installed and verified. This has to be a Microsoft software glitch as I see it has happened to too many users on too many different machines. I have lost 126,000 coins,
my five day bonus of 1,000 coins and the ability to bank any new coins I get, But.......... Life goes on !!

Thank you for posting on the Xbox forums.

Outer Worlds for Windows does not support cloud saves like the Xbox One version does.
There isn't much official support information online regarding cloud saves specifically for games downloaded through the Microsoft Store on Windows 10, although it does seem that not all games downloaded through the Microsoft Store on Windows 10 supports
cloud saves across multiple devices. Cross-save is explained to work for
Xbox Play Anywhere titles in regards to games available on Xbox One and Windows 10 and this could also be the case if you are trying to access saves on
a different Windows 10 device. My assumption is that basically if a game is not listed as an Xbox Play Anywhere title, then it does not support cross-save across different devices whether it be an Xbox One console or another Windows 10 PC. You would have to
manaully back up the saves to an external drive and transfer the saves over to the other PC.

I just installed Windows 10 and I am signed into Jackpot but it is saying that there is a problem saving coin balance to the cloud. I have internet connection. Is it having a problem going from the old windows to the new windows internet (Edge)? Please

The game directory and game saves are generally located in different locations. The game saves for Outer Worlds is located at C:\ Users\USERNAME\Saved Games\The Outer Worlds Windows 10\(Numerical string) as mentioned by
our Xbox Ambassador, while the game directory is located under a hidden WindowsApp folder located in C:\Program Files where you won't have the permissions to enter.

Signing into your Microsoft account when the game first launched was probably another license check and to track any acheivements you unlock to your Xbox Live profile.
