    Windows 10 update broke the Xbox App...


    I don't know why this update broke my computer, it first started on my desktop, now after an update it just broke like ****? The error that I am getting is "we couldn't sign you into xbox live right now try again in a little while"

    Xbox Elite Controller does not work after installing the app "accessories xbox" on my win10 x64

    I have a Xbox one Elite Controller , he work fine on my pc 64bit windows 10 , but today i try the app accesories xbox , the app lauch an update after some minute the app close , i relaunch the app and she don't recognize my Elite Controler ... in game too
    ...

    I try the same thing with a classic xbox one control , update work fine and the pad work too ...

    So when i go to the xbox site and i click on accesories for windows 10 i SEE the elite controller and you SELL it too

    NOW MY CONTROLLER IS BROKEN , I TELL THE SUPPORT , They don't KNOW coz they bad

    and What CAN i DO ?

    windows 10 recognise my pad in system configuration ..

    But the update broke the firmware of the elite controller i think

    Let's manually update the controllers on your Windows 10 PC through the Xbox Accessories app. To proceed, kindly download the "Xbox Accessories" app from the
    Windows Store. This is a separate app from the Xbox app. The app will enable you to update your controller. Refer to How
    to update your Xbox One Controller on Windows 10     for the steps.

    I can't view my achievement/gamest list and no solution works

    I just got the xbox one, and out of box it didn't show them not even on the windows 10 Xbox app, once I downloaded my profile to the xbox one. so was any one's else's achievements displayed correctly in the past. as there was just the February update. so
    maybe the update broke things

    Windows 10 won't detect microphone in a party.

    Update: It was a forced update from Windows 10 that broke my audio settings for Xbox parties. The second update from August 12, 2020 for Windows 10. I uninstalled it, and the Xbox app is working perfectly again. This is why forced updates were the worst
    decision to possibly make for an OS. There is no security excuse to be made as systems are still as vulnerable as ever. Good job Microsoft. The best solution I recommend is finding out how to disable the mandatory updates to avoid little things being broken
    here and there. Good day to you all.

    Thanks for reaching out! In reference to your question, Xbox app and games are updated periodically. The Xbox app will automatically update itself through the Microsoft Store app on Windows 10, but there are occasions when a game or an app may fail to update.
    In such cases, you’ll have to manually update your games and apps to get to the latest version on the PC you are using.
