there is a version out now that you needed to sign up for..I was about to click accept and backed out at the last second. kind of need my PC at home with no problems for the next 2 months..

yes Ghost... we will be getting an update... the W10 OS will be the backbone of the UI inside the Xb... remember it will be a version made for the XB not a complete version like what a PC will get

it only works with some games though, not all... it even says that

that's why I asked if those specific games would be supported...

@ Ghostz Because XBOne is based on Windows 8 not 10.

You mean a update don't you tohell ? to make it compatible with Windows 10.

XBOne os was designed on Windows 8 hence the tiles look.

Since i joined xbox late 2010 they HAVE made several changes to the UI. Lots of kids and adults hate the windows 8 UI. Since theyve made UI changes to xbox 360 they are likely to for xbox 1. Microsoft wants to unify their prducts with windows 10. So its
likely they will make changes to the UI. At launch xbox 1 didnt have a Friends tab on the xbox 1 dashboard, now it does. You can also change the dash background. Xbox 1 isnt all about windows 8. Its main focus is games.

If you are streaming to windows, there should be no reason why any game wouldn't work? These game DO NOT run on windows, they run from your xbox and then you stream them to windows via the xbox app.

As Bakez said, any game will be able to stream as your just using another screen, the games still play on your xo.

Lag will depend on your network, i have game streaming running fine on my PS4 and Vita at home but if i take my Vita into work and try to connect it runs into problems more often than not.

What i want to know is can i leave my XO on at home and stream it in work or do they have to be on the same network?

on the xbox wire page it says you can play "many" of your games... it doesn't say you can play all of your games

You should be able to stream your whole xbox one library to your PC with Windows 10.

I'm in the technical preview as well. The Xbox app in the current build isn't what will ultimately be released. I believe we'll get more of the promised features in the next update. I'm dying to try this out!

that doesn't make sense that your comp can't play the sims, I have a very mediocre comp and I stream wow and starcraft... no matter how much money you throw at a computer, if you don't reformat and update it the right way its never going to perform well...

... you need to install your drivers first(before you run windows update) ... and its important to idle before and after updating in between restarts and even after the initial reformat

a computer not updated at all for example(straight after reformat) has five times less performance than that of one updated correctly

and a computer that is updated correctly(hardware before windows update including idling) will perform 1/3 better than a computer that just ran windows update and installed the drivers

I know it doesn't make sense, and computers shouldn't even require you to install games and should just be like consoles and reformat themselves, but it is the way it is
