Windows 10 playing with Xbox

hi does any1 know if u need Xbox live gold to play Windows 10 with Xbox one? I was trying to play gta v last nite with my frie that was on Xbox one, we could party chat but that's all

I see you're having trouble playing in game mode on your Windows 10 PC check out the steps listed here:

Definitely make sure you try restarting your PC and perhaps uninstalling and reinstalling the Xbox App itself. Checking to see if your Windows 10 is up to date is also recommended.

GTV5 does not offer crossplay between Pc and XB1 unfortunatly.

 

Ah that's a bit rubbish I can't be that hard to do as its connects to the Xbox app on the PC

 

they use completely different servers, even if it does connect via the xbox app.

 

Yeah does it with other games just not with gta but can't be that hard to connect them both together

 

^^Well considering the game is 3 years old now i doubt Rockstar will at this stage ever spend the money needed to update the game to allow cross platform, but who knows with GTA 6, now that MS also have crossplay with windows 10 it should be eaiser in the
future for games to support this.
