"The new Fable will be doing the same thing won't it? The UI/controls for the evil side is suited to mouse and keyboard play while the heroes control brilliantly on console controllers. There's no advantage for the PC guys there. They'd just make better
evil dudes than console evil dudes... s'kinda fitting.

You'd want PC evil dudes for a better challenge and experience on console. =)"

Through the very limited videos that I've seen of Fable Legends, I don't think the issues you've pointed out are going to really happen. It would appear that the mastermind can only have four groups (all of the groups are hotkeyed on the controller as well)
of enemies for the heroes to fight. Also the minion movements seem "clunky" to where doing some slick StarCraft 2 marine/marauder micro-managing won't be possible. I think the mastermind game will be more about unit composition and initial placement than any
    kind of micro-managing.

Yeeeah... I kind of expected that with Fable if I'm honest. Anything with Tigerbutt Studios goes: New feature or mechanic is announced. I imagine it. Then seeing it realised... the disappointment happens. lol

Black & White 2: You can name family members and set aside land. You can even have a family pet! You can make your whole family and put them in the world."

Oh look the one named after my mom is snogging a Disciple Breeder that is decidedly not the one named after my dad! <-- change family titles here to increase levels of creepiness. "How come the one named after my gran is pregnant? I have no breeders and
she lives with the one named after... urgh... muh.. m-m-mee." Irk.

Fable II: We've done away with maps and now you have a breadcrumb trail to follow! "Huh? It hops from road to road at forks, it disappears a lot, and it often takes me on a merry run the long way round to my objective!"

Missing your maps yet? They were simply simple and great weren't they! Well here's Fable III! We have 3D maps that are a window into building management! They don't work as maps because... weren't you paying attention? Building management! Fun,
    kids, can you say fun!?

Heh. Anyhoo I wasn't thinking of Starcraft levels of speed and micro-management. More the deliberately-paced and heavier Total War type of strategy, with maybe, on console... some Chivary-like gameplay
coupled to it. So a console gamer is playing Chivalry amidst the units of the PC player's army, while another PC player defends his fort, and other console players are dropping in and out holding
    objectives and stuff.

Or for sci-fi tastes Dawn of War meets Gears of War across platforms... or Ground Control meets Advanced Warfare.

But even with something less ambitious and with far fewer technological hurdles, like the Fable thing... every
console strategy game I've played could stand to have sensitivity and camera movements sped up by a factor of ten. But if you speed it up you
lose some precision, even if it is simple, you can miss a dropped spawn point or something.

I think PC players - even though I ain't seen anything beyond the E3 2014's Fable: Legends peek
    - will still be able to dart around the world map with more speed and efficiency, better and more quickly guage what the heroes are up to [talking out of me boot here], and perhaps with a decent adoption
rate of the FTP on PC... they'll get some canny updates to improve their HUD, hotkeys, and options overall. Doubt dat doe.

But the future of cross-platforming could be an interesting space for devs to play around with in future, and for us 'garmers' to think about the possibilities now. {=D

  3. I can see where you're going. Being able to pan the camera quickly could be big.

I am very disappointed that Microsoft is changing the xbox one operating system to windows 10.

I would not have bought the one if I had known this.

Now my xbox will be turned into a windows computer vulnerable to all of the hacking and viruses.

What's next, install Symantec anti virus?

    Daily security updates?

I have experienced years of trouble free service with the Xbox 360 and still use it.

The streaming feature will be nice for those people who find themselves fighting over the TV. Though why you just wouldn't play a PC game or game on a tablet is a question worth asking. Hell I'm playing Final Fantasy 8 on my phone.

Wont cause any more cheating than you get now. They aren't likely to allow all games to go cross-platform. I imagine Microsoft will have quite a strict list of requirements before allowing it.

Plus you have the PC gamers themselves, they aren't likely to be happy to wait for patches. So you'd get an instant version mismatch which would stop console and PC gamers playing together.

I know the 360 is hacked to the point of no return. Even if you stream to your PC and using the monitor, your still using the PC components. The hackers are aware of this and give it a month in release, you bet your controller, there will be hacks out. I
can stream to my PC all day long with other things and can easy manipulate the outcome with a single click. it is coming and no way to stop it, just hope they allow only certain non FPS games to prevent the madness. Cause you know once its hacked, there is
no return and no way to stop it.
