Discus and support Windows 10 Mixer broadcasting doesn't work, but ONLY from my profile on this computer in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; I want to broadcast my gameplay from Windows 10 using MIxer.     Windows 10 Mixer broadcasting doesn't work, but ONLY from my profile on this computer


    I want to broadcast my gameplay from Windows 10 using MIxer. It doesn't work from my account.

    However, if I make a new profile on this computer, or use a different existing profile (but sign into Xbox Live using my Xbox Live account), it works just fine.

    Because it works on other profiles, I don't need to reinstall Windows. I don't need to reinstall the Xbox Gaming Overlay. I have permissions. The network traffic is flowing. My Mixer account and Xbox Live account are in good standing. Everything is
    good.

    There's just something wrong with THIS specific profile that is causing it to fail.

    Any ideas why?

    How Do You Stream?

    I use Mixer straight from my Xbox, but I used to stream on my Windows 10 computer using OBS and posting on YouTube. I think streaming straight from the Xbox using Mixer is so much easier!

    Mixer stops broadcasting on Windows 10

    So I have been trying to broadcast a game on Windows 10 for several weeks now, using the build in Mixer broadcasting feature. I am lucky to get 10 minutes of broadcast time, before it stops broadcasting all together. I have all the latest updates, and have
    even done a shut down and restart of the device. Nothing has worked to allow Mixer to broadcast without shutting down. At times I go from 7 seconds to 9 minutes of broadcast time, and every time it stops broadcasting. I am at a loss to figure out how to fix
    it. I could use OBS or Xsplit, but that limits the ability to see chat, and adds extra resources I shouldn't have to use up. You'd think this would be working great on Windows 10 Pro, but not for me. Works like a charm on Xbox One!

    We appreciate your patience and for keeping us updated about this matter. Since you are unable to download the Xbox app from the Windows Store, we recommend that you perform a reset store cache. To do this, you may refer to the steps below:

    1. Press the Win+R keys to open the Run dialog.
    2. Type WSReset.exe, and click/tap on OK.

      Note: The WS tool resets the Windows Store without changing account settings or deleting installed apps.
    3. The Store and a command prompt will now open without any message. The command prompt will automatically close when the Store cache has been reset.
    After resetting the store cache, we suggest that you uninstall the Xbox app beta before trying to install the Xbox app from Windows Store.
