Thanks for reaching out to us in the forums for this issue. Sorry to hear that you're unable to connect to a buddy in Minecraft. Its possible that you're unable to connect with your other friend due to a NAT type issue on their end, since you've successfully
been able to connect with others on your end. However, you did say that there are already 4 others in there with you and with Minecraft: Windows 10 edition, you'd be limited to playing with 4 others online (or locally) unless you are subscribers of Minecraft
Realms (this allows up to 10).

Did you purchased the game through the Microsoft Store or a key somewhere else?

Also, are you trying to connect to a Realms Server?

Is Windows 10 fully updated?

I bought and downloaded Minecraft last night, I was able to connect to a friends server just fine. I tried again today and I get the "Unable to connect" error. I've tried every step and solution I could find on the forums and it still wont work. Is there
something else I can try? If not, is there any way I can get a refund? I don't want to pay $30 for a game that has had this issue for years.

Hi there, maybe the version of the game that you have its different of your friends and thats why you are having this issue.
