    Windows 10 Minecraft asks me to sign in, even though I am already signed in? - Can't play...


    I own (bought) Minecraft on my Microsoft account. I have an Xbox Live account. I am signed in on both. Therefore, I am under the assumption that I should be able to launch Minecraft in Windows 10 and
    play it online. Is that correct?

    Here is a screenshot of my Minecraft Windows 10 title screen, asking me to log in when I am already logged into Microsoft AND Xbox (I launched the game through the Xbox app): https://imgur.com/P52KFe4

    Any ideas what's going on here? Microsoft's account management absolutely baffles me, so I would love some explanation of how I can just fix the login issue and PLAY the game (online).

    Thanks, this was sort of the solution. It wasn't that I don't have the privileges on my Microsoft account, but rather that a different Microsoft account was signed into Windows (long story on that one) and somehow was taking priority over the one that
    owns Minecraft on its account. Quite confusing, but your reply led to me figuring it out. Much appreciated.

    try to sign in on the game, and it should unlock for you. From the look of it, you have to sign in on the game to be able to play it.

    Remove your profile from windows and log back in.
