I think I posted this in the right category

OS: Windows 10 home, Version 1909 (OS Build 18363.476)

    Processor: AMD FX-8320E Eight-Core Processor, 3200 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 8 Logical Processor(s)

BIOS Version/Date American Megatrends Inc. P1.20, 1/12/2016 (Maxed out)

    BaseBoard Manufacturer ASRock

    BaseBoard Product 970A-G/3.1

Installed Physical Memory (RAM) 24.0 GB

    Total Physical Memory 24.0 GB

    Available Physical Memory 20.8 GB

    Total Virtual Memory 27.5 GB

    Page File Space 3.50 GB

Name Radeon RX 570 Series 4GB

Every time I play video games or stream from my Xbox 1 S Digital console or even stream from my Switch console through my Elgado HD60 S.

It's happened so many times I've become used to it.

I see the blue screen, roll my eyes, hit reset, wait for the BIOS start up to kick on, then do the Windows start up, see the login put in the password and get back to the desktop. Then hit the hot key for the browser, restart Elgato HD60 S or whatever game
I was playing to continue off until it happens again!

I can't even finish Crackdown 3, Dead Rising 4, or any other game without running into a Random Blue Screen showing a random error file and I just spent time updating the drivers to be up to date after recently giving this... "Lovable" Operating System a
    merciless and brutal Root Canal.

I've made posts on Microsoft/Windows Twitter page and got ZERO RESPONSE from them about the blue screens.

The Blue screen errors are always random.

    Here's what I have done:

    Trend Micro Maximum Security:

    OS Drive: Clean
    Drive D: Clean
    Drive E: Clean
    Drive F: Clean
    Drive G: Clean
    Drive H: Clean

    Drive I: Clean

sfc /scannow: Results: Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations

    chkdsk: Error found and repaired

DirectX is at 12, Bios is maxed out on updates

Memory diagnostic came back Snake eyes meaning No problems

No, this processor is not overclocked as I do not have the cooling to support overclocking

Yes this is a legal version of Windows Migraine as I got it back when Windows was offereing it as a free upgrade. That was a mistake to begin with right away.

How can you go from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 bypassing 9 completely. That never sat right with me.

I was going to reinstall Comodo Internet Security as it is currently free and they do have a monthly option for eight bucks a month but I decided on Trend as it's obvious the Windows version of internet security is lacking.

At the time of this, Windows Update says I'm up to date

Every time I turn around AMD is always doing updates for the graphics card. Not doing the optional 19.12.1 graphics update. Not this time.

So...what must I do to stop this annoying and repeating Blue screen whenever I play video games or stream video games from my game consoles.

Before you ask, I have Game pass, highest tier for Xbox and PC.

When I stream from that or play from that I get blue screens.

The ONLY game it hasn't happened with is Star Trek Online, All of my games are on Drive I which is 10TB of space.

    :)

    Enough with the private messages

I did a root canal on this for the second time, formatted the same drive for the second time, reinstalled it cleanly for the second time,

Got three blue screens, two that were recorded one time that wasn't.

on 12/13 it kicked out NTFS as the random problem, but SMART tests show the drives are fine

Today it was dxgmms2. and that happened when I tried to use my Elgato HD60s USB Game capture device to stream from my switch to my tower.

I do not have any Nvidia gear in my rig

    Now;

Five of my hard drives were purchased on 10/01/2014

The 10TB USB external Hard drive was purchased on 11/01/19

The Processor and motherboard, on 02/01/2017...

And the SATA cables and memory cards I had from my old setup

I'm going to save up for my new build that will be either Ryzen or i7

I find it very strange that every time I play a game or stream from my game capture device I see the familiar blue screen waltzing on in. Can someone explain to me how this might happen and please, I barely trust Microsoft products over this, over Internet
Explorer, Edge or Defender as really, Microsoft has no business being in the antivirus business as they should leave it to the professionals on that one.

Now, Greggie; did you really READ my problem? Did you really process and understand my problem?

How is it that every time I play games on my tower OR use my Elgato HD60s USB Game capture device to stream from my Xbox to my PC or my Switch to my PC I get blue screens? And yet you moved it to the Xbox part without thoroughly reading it? That's cute as
    let me remind you:

ANY GAME I PLAY whether it be from X Box game pass to Origin games to Steam Games I get Blue screens

Any time I play my console and stream it to my PC by the Elgato game capture software or from the switch I STILL get Blue screens and I SWEAR to every single sundries deity on this PLANET that If I get told the solution is to root canal this AGAIN to get
it to stop. I'm either going to downgrade to 7 or 8.1 OR go Linux/Unix!

Did you bother to read what I posted? from your answers it sounds like you didn't so I included my own answers and copied parts of what you "Suggested" and my answer on whether or not I had done that.

4)Test the RAM overnight to stress it with the best bootable test memtest86, following this guide:

I tested the memory: No errors were found so that suggestion does not apply

    1) Have you tried removing the 3rd party security and use only built-in Defender which assures best performance of Windows with the least issues, and is from Microsoft who knows how to protect their OS best? This solves
    many problems.

You're just paid to mention Defender. I don't trust Defender, I don't trust Internet explorer and I don't trust Microsoft Edge. I prefer WORKING products. So I will not use Defender and If I could uninstall and any unnecessary bloatware from Microsoft I would.

    3) Update your drivers and BIOS/UEFI firmware from PC or motherboard maker's Support Downloads web page, using the full model number, Serial Number or Dell Service Tag on sticker. Compare the latest drivers available
for download with the ones presently installed in Device Manager reached by right clicking the Start Menu. Make sure you have the latest BIOS or UEFI firmware, Chipset, Display (Video), Sound, USB3, Bluetooth, Network and all other drivers, or else download
    and install the latest now.

Doesn't apply when I already have the latest BIOS firmware for my motherboard and I keep checking every month and there is no updated version. You have the Make and model of my motherboard so you can easily verify that what's there is the highest version

    5) Test the hard drive or SSD with diagnostics:

    https://www.lifewire.com/free-hard-drive-testin...

    https://mashtips.com/ssd-health-test-and-perfor...

HP and Dell have hardware diagnostics triggered by tapping the ESC or F12 keys respectively as you power on.

This rig is NOT HP/Dell/Alienware/Acer/Gateway/Emachines. it's custom built so assuming I have HP and Dell is moot as I would have specified if this tower was HP or Dell.

Best is to use the HDD/SSD manufacturer's own if there is one, otherwise use Seatools bootable long test: http://blog.nowherelan.com/2013/04/04/boot-seat...

Follow this up with a full Disk Check from the Command Prompt in Repair Mode or from bootable media: https://www.groovypost.com/howto/check-hard-dri... if
necessary from the Command Prompt at boot: https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/2294-advanc...

Been there, done that twice No effect. The SSD's health is in the green and all of the drives are SMART tested.

There is also an automated Fresh Start that reinstalls WIndows while shedding corrupting factory bloatware, saves your files, but doesn't clear the drive to get it cleanest:

When you specified "Shedding corrupting factory bloatware" Does that include Cortana? Internet Explorer? Microsoft Edge? and Windows Defender?

If Microsoft knew how to protect their OS or even code one, they would not have jumped from 8.1 to 10 and release repeatedly unstable version after unstable version

So, Sheila recommended that I do another Root Canal, format the drive and reinstall the OS and after that it will take me three days to get it back to where I can play video games on it
