Windows 10 Games Cannot Sign Into the Xbox Account

Has a solution been found for this yet? I'm having the same problem in ilomilo plus, even though I am logged into the Xbox and Xbox (beta) apps. When I try to refresh the login from within ilomilo plus, I get the message "Our terms of service have been updated.
Please start the Xbox Games app to accept the new Terms of Service." The app is running in the background at this point. Clicking the arrow give you the message "You are currently not signed in to Xbox. If you choose to continue your progress will not be saved."
I've logged into both services. This was working at one point and I've lost all progress in my game. I've also "reported a problem" on the Xbox app. Please rectify this issue, it will impact me buying ANY other games from the Windows store.

This problem seemed to have resolved itself, but it's back. Again, I'm trying to play Pinball FX2. I'm logged in on Windows 10, and in the Xbox app. But the GAME simply refuses to log in. Error message states "Can't log into Xbox please try again later."
This problem has persisted since last Sunday. Saturday, everything was working fine. I just paid for several new tables so the timing is ironic. Help?

 

I had the problem when running Ilomilo Plus where it couldn't login to Xbox despite being logged in to to the store and Xbox app. It would give me the error of having to accept new terms and conditions as well as not being able to save my game progress
for not being logged in.

I changed two things to fix this. The first is logging into xbox.com and go to your Xbox settings. Then go to contact preferences. It gave me a prompt to accept the terms and conditions. I accepted them and then saved my preferences for the email newsletters/ads.
Second, I went to forums preferences and set the time zone to align with my computers.

I don't know if one or both of these things fixed the issue, but it's worth it to give it a shot. I hope this helps someone out there; good luck!

 

Hi I have the same problem on just one of two machines. A win 10 (upgrade from 8.1) Surface Pro 3 works fine. I can log onto Xbox app and log into MS Jigsaw. On a Dell laptop (upgrade from 7 to 10) I can log onto Xbox app but get the "our terms of service
have been updated. please start the Xbox games app" message whenever I try to log onto MS Jigsaw. I've checked for messages etc. in the app but nothing there. This would indicate that the issue isn't account related but one tied to the profile on the Dell
laptop. Any ideas where to look?

Vong JunX3's suggestion worked for me! I had to do a Google search for the Xbox settings page as it apparently isn't easy to find on the site, but I selected "Contact Preferences", and followed directions and it connected properly on ilomilo+!

I cannot sign in to Microsoft Jackpot. It keeps telling me that the in app purchase is not available, even though I have not clicked on any in app purchases. It then tells me I must sign in to my x-box account, even though the Microsoft Solitaire collection
shows that I am logged in. I have lost all of my progress and it is trying to make me start over because I can't sign in to the game. I am having similar problems with Microsoft Treasure Hunt, except it will eventually let me play where I left off.

 

Hi, this thread is a year old and there are no solutions available. Xbox live doesn't want to connect to Sudoku or Mine Sweeper, it only gives me the same message everyone else receives to "log in online and restart the app" but it doesn't work. I've uninstalled/reinstalled
the apps and nothing. Hopefully someone posts a solution or Xbox tries to fix this.

 

Hi i am having the same problem. It will allow me to sign in when I visit xbox.com but I can not sign in to any of my games solitare, jackpot etc. Any help would be appreciated. \don't fancy uninstalling

and reinstalling as by the sounds of it this does not work!
