Windows 10 Games Cannot Sign Into the Xbox Account

you can add me, my girlfriend, child and mother to the list.

some games log us all in (wordament) but some dont..

i cant sign in to taptiles, but my girlfriend can.

my son is having all sorts of problems with different games.

i keep trying to sell windows 10 to my family, saying how great it is.. but my son currently cannot download his profile to his xbox 360. its just becoming a nightmare now

 

I have the same issue, but it only came up when i got me the game Minecraft beta for windows 10, before that i never had any problems with the Xbox app.

Sometimes i can sign in and if i close the game and open it again this sign in problem appears and i have to wait a long while till i can play again.

If it`s help my version of Xbox app is 11.13.6008.00000

Also having problems, can't sign into jigsaw or sudoku, trying to get the achievements in those games and I can't because I can't connect to my xbl account.

The Xbox App on my surface pro 4 is working fine. I can log in.

I see all my installed games but just can log in to the xbox live games...

 

I am not using the beta version of xbox app...my games have not been working for 2 weeks now! Sorry, we can't sign you on to Xbox. Bummer!!! I'm not the only user with this problem! No where in my games is there a "report a problem" spot...

 

I am having the exact same problem. Started a couple of weeks ago as well. I have a Surface Book. The Xbox app works without any issues. I can log into xbox.com without any problems. Below are the xbox live games I am no longer able to use: Halo Spartan
Assault, Reckless Racing Ultimate, Angry Birds Star Wars, Hydro Thunder Hurricane, Project Spark, Cut the Rope, etc. All of my Xbox Live enabled games except for Solitaire if i let the Solitaire app sit there for a few minutes and it will finally connect.
Come on Microsoft, what was changed 2 or 3 weeks ago that is preventing folks from logging in and playing the games we payed for? Hope to hear more soon about how to resolve this issue.

As stated previously by others in this thread, I have verified my date/time/region settings. Also I am not using the Xbox beta app (I do have it installed but only use the standard app.

I am an Xbox one preview member...maybe this could be part of it?? Are others in this thread part of the Xbox preview program?

I wanted to all a bit more insight to this issue. I just got out my original Surface Pro that I haven't used since October when I got my Surface Book. All the games sign in without issue. It's currently running Windows 10 Pro. I checked updates and its currently
downloading Windows 10 version 1511, 10586.

Once it finishes downloading and updates, I'll try again and see if I'm still able to log into my Xbox live games.

Is anyone else able to test an older version of Windows 10 as well and see if they are able to sign into Xbox live and play their games?

 

Ok, once I submitted the above post I noticed that the posted time is Jan 23 at 1:54 AM. I posted the above 2 posts from my Surface Book (having the problems). The problem is that its currently Jan 22nd at 9:04 (now). EST time. When I posted the above it
was 8:54 PM on Jan 22nd. My surface book shows the correct time in date/time settings as well as region settings. It seems like something server side is redirecting to the wrong set of servers which is causing time discrepancies and because of that we are
unable to sign into Xbox Live as the time signature is wrong. (just a guess off the top of my head)

I am posting this from my original Surface Pro that has not updated yet (see above post). I want to see if the time stamp is correct when I post this or if the time still shows wrong. Again, everything in the date/time settings on my Surface Book and my
Surface Pro show the correct time/date/region settings (EST) and my MS account also shows the correct settings as well.

Anyone have any ideas?

 

^ Time is still posting wrong. Shows I posted at 2:08 AM on Jan 23 when I actually posted on 9:09 PM EST on Jan 22nd according to the device I'm on. This really seems like a server/account problem.

 

My Husband is also having this issue.

 

I also have this problem. In my surface 3 I can't login the games marked "xbox", but the ones marked "xbox live" work fine. In my laptop they all work fine.

 

I have ONE Microsoft game I'd like to play, Pinball FX2 (and have actually spent a few bucks on some of the tables). I'm on a Microsoft OS, using the Microsoft account to log in, playing a Microsoft game on a Microsoft gaming network, and it can't log in.
I read the sticky at the top of this forum, did every step there, and nothing. So guess I'm done with MS games for now, I hope they get it fixed.

 

I'm having the same problem, just upgraded to a windows 10 laptop and cant sign in to play any of the games i want to play! Feel like i'm only accessing 50% of what i want. Please fix I'm signed in fine everywhere else except the xbox games.
