Discus and support Windows 10 edition in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; i brought Minecraft on 22 august 2015 and have already redeemed the code a few years back but i wanted to download it today but it wont let me download...     i brought Minecraft on 22 august 2015 and have already redeemed the code a few years back but i wanted to download it today but it wont let me download it i have checked the Microsoft store and its telling me to buy it again please help

    Looked through some of the help articles - man the information is confusing.

    Anyways from what I'm inferring from the posts is that you can play Windows 10 to Windows 10, and Pocket Edition to Windows 10 and that's it right now.

    The pocket edition is different as was mentioned by the staff for windows 10 it needs windows 10 edition. Depending on what system you are trying play on requires that edition to play it.

    I own minecraft "windows 10 edition" on xbox one but isn't availabile on windows 10....
    There is no "Windows 10 Edition" on the Xbox One.

    On the Xbox One, there was a "Minecraft Xbox One Edition" but that has been replaced with just "Minecraft".

    As the others already said, "Minecraft" is not a Play Anywhere title, so owning "Minecraft" on the Xbox One, doesn't give you "Minecraft Windows 10 Edition" on the PC.

    However, if you own Minecraft Java Edition on PC, you can log into your Mojang Account on PC, and can get a code for the Windows 10 Version.

    Hey there, SnappyBark0! Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition Beta is only available free for users that had the original Minecraft: PC (or Mac) Edition. If you only have the Minecraft: 360 Edition, you will not be able to get the Windows 10 Beta version for free.
