    Windows 10 does not work with Xbox Live account


    Going to the Friends tab simply yields, "You cannot play online multiplayer through Xbox Live because of how your account is set up. This can be changed in your privacy & online safety settings on Xbox.com."

    I have read forum posts about this problem before, with no solutions. The directions listed on the game are far too vague and, quite frankly, inaccurate. I have been all throughout my settings and haven't found a single option to allow for my Minecraft account
    to interface with my Xbox Live account.

    My account is not a child account, so I am not sure why this option was switched off initially.

    Help would be appreciated.

    Hi Lucas,

    As mentioned earlier by XBF Leslie, even between two accounts on the same PC, Xbox Game Pass or Xbox Live Gold cannot be shared on a Windows 10 PC. Windows 10 or the Xbox App on Windows 10 does not have the same "Home Console" feature the Xbox One console
    does so the sharing wouldn't work in the same way it does on then Xbox One and license sharing on the PC is not currently supported. You will need to get the subscriptions separately for each account on the PC.

    Revert/Rollback/Downgrade Xbox Controller Firmware. There is a way to do this!!! (FULL guide with pics)

    Revert does not work with Windows 10 and older models.

    Revert does not work in Windows 11 at all.

    Revert only works from the Xbox.

    How can I log into Gamepass PC Beta with my Xbox Live email and not my main Outlook email?

    I assume you have 2 seperate accounts, the one with your Xbox Live email, and the outlook email.

    If you find that WPAK's advice does not help, then try signing into the windows 10 device (I assume you are on windows 10) with your Xbox Live email
    and see if that allows you to sign into the app with the correct account.
