    Windows 10 D-Pad / Left Stick swap issue


    Using Horipad Pro AB01-001U for XBOX Series X on Windows 10, intermittently on startups, Windows will recognize the left analog input as D-pad input, this leads to the value constantly being 32768 for both axes when the stick is left neutral, resulting in the Windows 10 PoV hat giving a constant down+left output.

    The only solution I've found is rebooting the machine until Windows decides to read it the correct way. Disconnecting+reconnecting doesn't fix it. I can't find anyone with this same issue online. I'm looking for tips, possible causes and suggestions to avoid repeatedly rebooting.

    Agree about the button bindings. Swapping out potions is also a chore. If I want to move left D-pad to bottom D-pad, it's a 3-step process and requires a random inventory potion.
