    Windows 10/ 7 unable to find driver Xbox NUI Motor


    Hello ,

    I am trying to connect KINECT XBOX 360 to my Windows 10 PC, But unable to get connected to it because of unsuccessful driver installation. In device manager, it says, "XBOX NUI Motor" driver not found. Even with windows 7 also the same problem.

    Anyone, please suggest me how to fix this issue?

    Noob question for all Xbox elite controller owning people.

    Actually you can manually download the drivers for windows 7 and 8/8.1.

    XBOX one Controller 2015 with usb cable to win 7

    Hi,

    I have a brand new xbox one Controller and try to add this Controller to Windows 7.

    If I connect this Controller via usb to Windows 7, i see a unknown Controller in the Windows device Manager.

    But if i try to find Driver via automatic update, no success.

    If i install the device Driver xb1usb.11059.0.140526x64.msi, i see a unknown Controller in the Windows device Manager too.

    It doesn't work under Windows 7. Using Windows 10 the Controller is kown and the device works.

    Any idea what i should do?

    I am having the same issue. I have installed the kinect SDK for Windows 10 but it has not resolved the driver issue and it is coming up with the same missing driver for the Xbox NUI Motor.

    Sorry I meant pre Windows 10, not "previous Windows 10", or in other words, the legacy Windows 7 drivers.

    Well, that is not actually true. As long as your using a data sync cable, and your using Windows 10, it should work regardless. Although, if your using windows 7, I had to unplug the controller, look online for an Xbox driver installer, and install drivers
    beforehand. I realized that the computer did detect it, but for some reason, Windows driver update could not find any drivers for it. Check to make sure that you are using a data sync cable and that your computer already
    has drivers installed.

    Heya!

    As valoryea mentioned Windows 7 and the new controllers may have issues without that driver. We would mostly recommend using Windows 10 with the controllers as Windows 10 is designed to be compatible with them and Windows 7 is not.

    As Windows 7 is not fully compatible with the controller you may run into issues even with the drivers installed.

    We do wish you the best with that though.

    If you run into issues even after you have upgraded to Windows 10 do let us know!
