Win10 > XboxOne Streaming - Not Displaying Video

Having the same issue here. I was able to do it on an older version of the app, but when I changed computers and updated it, it stopped working. I can hear audio, no video. I was also getting the issue saying network quality issues message. Console and computer
are both connected to the router via Ethernet, so I don't see why the network would be a problem.

 

Just wanted to post an update to say I have got the game streaming working albeit a majorly annoying way to fix it.

What I did was used the Windows 10 built in Reset this PC feature.

This can be accessed by pressing the Windows key on your keyboard or Windows button on screen, going to Settings, and then selecting Update & Security. From here you will want to select the Recovery option on the left hand side and you should then see Reset
this PC on the center area. If you click the Get started button you will be presented with 2 options. One will keep your personal files but will remove all apps and reset all settings. The other option will basically factory wipe the device losing all your
files.

A word of warning it you choose to keep your files and have originally upgraded from Windows 7 or Windows 8 you will more than likely have to reinstall pretty much all applications, this includes Flash Player, Silverlight, Adobe Reader, NVIDIA or AMD suites,
iTunes. The list goes on, but you will be presented with a .html on your desktop listed all the applications along with their version numbers that were removed while refreshing your PC. Not all but some of the applications listed in this report are hyperlinks
to the manufacturers websites making the restoration just that little bit quicker.

I upgraded from Windows 7 so now I have got to install all of my Alienware suite software again, along with my Steam games and more (2 page print out to be precise).

A majorly annoying way to fix this issue but for those willing to give anything a go to fix it then this may just help.

I remain hopeful that Xbox can provide a simpler fix for this issue in the future.

I have streamed cable television once (the first time I tried) with no problems and now I can see the XBOX ONE "static" pages, I can see and manipulate OneGuide, I can hear live audio perfectly, the only thing I am missing is video. I can use my apps, Hulu,
Netflix, SlingTV, etc. just not cable TV any longer.

If I change streaming quality I frequently get a second or two of live video but it won't stay active.

People have stopped posting about this issue, has there been a resolution?

Hi Desert, We haven't observed any other reports regarding no video when streaming. If your able to reproduce this issue using the regular version and with Xbox App (Beta), please use the "Report a problem" located in under happy face in left NAV bar in
the beta version so a report with helpful data is sent to the developers to investigate.

I will call out this issue in our reports to the developers today so they aware this issue is being observed.
