    Win10 Xbox(Beta) app not running any games


    The Windows 10 Xbox app has worked well for me for months. I have the Game Pass to use with it, but for the past week, I have been unable to sign into my Xbox Live account once I launch a game. I'm fully signed in before I launch the game, no issued. Once
    the game launches, it pops up with a message saying I'm not signed in and prompts me to choose my account. I'm given two buttons, "Choose Account" which has my account shown, and "Add Account". "Add Account" does nothing when clicked, and "choose account"
    comes up with an error that it cant sign into my Xbox Live account at that time. Different games have different messages but that's the gist. some games simply say "you must be signed into an Xbox Live account to play this game, and have "Close Game" as the
    only option to choose.

    it was a good idea that i had not fought off but sadly it did not help

    tried to uninstall the xbox app and run the game through the win10 store did not help,

    then i tried to re-install the xbox (beta) app and the game again , then run it, did also not help

    Thx VapourTrails, that worked.

    I was on Win10 Insider build 10586 and this issue was occurring in both the Xbox app and Xbox Beta app. VapourTrails fix worked for me.

    I'm running the game on my Win10 laptop and trying to "project" (WinKey + P) it to my Xbox One X, with the "Wireless Display" app running.

    It's the brand-new Xbox One app, just released last week.

    I don't think you actually need the Xbox beta app to launch any game? The app is useful for checking the Xbox Game Pass for PC catalog, but you can also download any games via the Microsoft Store without the Xbox beta app. And the app doesn't need to run
    in the background when you're playing Microsoft Store games on your PC

    Have you been able to play these games before on Win10? If yes some system update caused this to happen, I think it will run on Win10 only if these games have any updates to be compatible
