Win + g button not working

I am trying to use the window + g button to screen record with audio on my surface pro, and there is an error coming up saying it cannot record because of an XBOX game overload. It told me to make an XBOX account, so I did, and it didn't fix the problem.
An error code came up, so I typed in the error code in multiple different ways. It told me that the error code didn't exist. It is difficult to work through my own problem when the error code that I am given doesn't work.

1. Does this problem persist across multiple games or just a single game?

2. Are you gaming in full screen?

Any chance you can post a picture of the error?

Xbox Beta app.
