Will you buy a Xbox One if it starts to have games that appeal to you?

Yes, I did play Shadows of Mordor. I very much enjoyed it but at the end of the day the gameplay was batmans combat mixed with ubisoft adventure gameplay. It was merely a checklisto f things to do and eventually the theme of violence wears thin.

As for examples I did mention one: The Witcher 3. How I wish I could play it. The amount of content and depth it has is like, everything I could want in an RPG.

The only other game that has made me glad for this gen was Bloodborne and we have Arkham Knight and The phantom Pain down the road.

" Now if you are looking for a totally ground breaking new genre of game I think your going to be waiting a very long time unless you can provide examples?" Not what I mean at all. Like with Dragon Age Inquistion, all it was was full of filler content that
came straight out of an mmo. The story and character content was good but everything else was shallow. This seems to be the absolute oppsite of what the Witcher 3 where even the more mundane quests have heart and soul.

 

You won't be seeing Titanfall 2 at E3 2015.

360 was in need of an upgrade in specs and features long before the X1 came out. Picked up that puppy Day one and moved on. Any game that has been on both consoles so far have been significantly better on the one. That is one of the main reasons I upgraded.

 

Pyramid I kind of get what your saying, maybe im just easy to please, personally I thought DA was a huge case of "Emperors New Clothes" syndrome and was vastly overrated. I had more enjoyment from Mordor personally. I like the look of Bloodborne though.
But where we definitely agree is the Witcher had set a new standard. I stated on this forum weeks back it was going to be a benchmark in gaming and it has delivered. How come you cant play it??

people were describing I was like" This is it: this what this generation can be all about."

I think a lot of how much enjoyment I have had from this gen of games comes from my expectations, I never expected a fantastic difference in games really in the way of titles that would be filled with new gaming experiences. What I did expect was better
graphics, more detail in worlds to make them more immersive, like litter blowing in the wind or grass moving as the player walks through it, better draw distances and textures to improve immersion etc and for me this gen has delivered in what I expected.

huh? I'm playing other games on it too. I'm just saying that's what pushed me into next gen.

 

@Bizzaro I would love to play The Last Of Us on PS4 and if I had the money spare would buy it just for that myself. (PS got the Witcher yet???) ;-)

 

No I don't have Witcher 3 yet because I just started FarCry 4 finally and it's already stressing me out.

Why is FarCry stressful? Have you played any of them, particularly 3? Literally everything is trying to kill you. It's both stressful and hilarious. Well if I get Witcher 3 now I'll end up abandoning all my other games so I'll try and wait. Aw heck
maybe I'll get it this weekend.

I felt $500 was justified at launch but if I didn't have one I'd say it's justified. There are tons of great games and I think E3 will be another big year for Xbox.

Wow, it looks like everyone are starting to finally appreciate the Xbox One, right now the remaining hatred of the Xbox One are just PlayStation fanboys trolling. As of now guys, the Xbox One is the only console that appealed to me at this moment, PS4 has
little to no games and I'm not interested on the Wii U at all.
