What the diffrent s between the download version and retail hard copy? Apart. From the price? With the download one from PSN are you able to play online

 

I can't even get 1 platinum medal, think I've gone as far as I can with this game.

Platinums require a lot of patience as most of the time you're just waiting to get that one perfect run, i have done em all upto the second set of medium tracks, handy if you have some fast ghosts on your list aswell so you can see bits that are slowing
you down.... but most important of all you just gotta persevere A-LOT lol

 

@GG - trust me, wait till you unlock the pit viper before trying to go through the warp zones - i think there is another one at the end of the marina track (?). Will make your life much easier.

@Cloud - Since this is your 1st Trials (i believe u said), the learning curve is huge, but soooo satisfying. I remember when I first started playing HD and thought I wouldnt get through any of the hard tracks and I thought that extremes were literally impossible.
There were a lot of really good riders who gave me a lot of tips and helped me get over the initial frustrations and learn how the bikes move and react leading to EXTREME joy when you finally no fault and then platinum your first extreme track down the line.
The Trials community is awesome (the redlynx forums are filled with helpful people & the devs at times) and most are willing to help out. I personally will pay it forward since i am very grateful for the tips i received if you need any advice or such. Course
it helps to put in 100s of hours practice also Glad you are enjoying it tho as Trials (any version) is one of my favorite games ever.

 

Sin and Soldier, I think it's a personal testament to my own skill that I nearly beat one of those warp zones WITHOUT the Pit Viper.

 

I think i'd rather stick hot needles in my eyes than began to imagine how much pain that must be lol

I have just made a time that's ranked me at 233 in the leaderboards, i don't think i have made it into the top 500 ever in my trials life n on a quad track of all things lol

Sin, thank you kindly for the tips there. Are you any good on this one yourself? You are correct it is my first game in the saga but I have heard that compared to the other titles that even this is a little different and harder? I will have to challenge
a few of your ghost scores and try to keep up

 

I'm not sure if it's harder tho them last extreme tracks certainly seem so, the first events from easy to 2nd medium seem a-lot easier to plat than the first same events on evolution.... so i dunno but it could be just i have actually got better at the game,
i find it teaching me the skills i need subtly, just that damned bunny hop, especially on them ramps into vert boxes... argh drives me mad.

Can add me if you want some leaderboard plats to compare yourself to or need a plat ghost to help you along i dont mind, only got 3 xb1 friends on at the mo and they're mates from rl

 

@Cloud - When Im feeling full of myself I would say Im above average I dont own the game as I dont own a next gen console and I kind of want the physical copy of this so Im holding off on the 360 version for now, but I put about 6 hours on my friends
machine and golded everything but the extremes (I did platinum the 1st extreme one tho) so i feel I have a good but not great grasp of the game atm. Im going to agree with LTA, its hard to tell whether its harder, but it seems incrementally so at least at
the harder levels. The gold times were very generous on most tracks it seemed tho, but the platinum times look like they may be a little tough at times - hard to tell since Im going to hold off until I get my own copy to do any more.

 

Can anyone tell me how the scoring screen after each track works (where it shows you earning your bronze, silver, or gold medal)? I tried very hard to get 38 gold medals and am now at 40+ and still don't know what my "reward" was or if I ever even got it.

 

Im not sure what you mean exactly or I would try to help. What 'reward' are you referring to?

 

LTA thanks dude! I will take all the assist I can get lol! Those vertical boxes do my skull in. I cant bunny hop very well at all and I tend to scream loud when I am 100+ crashes just on one damn box! I am stuck on a level that requires a far bunny hop or
you get fried in electrified water. So hating this level lol.

Sin, lol. If you can do all that in 6 hours on this tough game then you deserve to be feeling full of yourself I seriously want to smash my house when I come off this game lol. Cant you come to mine for 6 hours and max mine out for me lol. JOKING
of course (before anyone calls me a net perv lol). I did get really stuck on the stunt skill level, the one where you just keep getting flung in the air to do stunts. I eventually got gold but it felt really hard to do it right.

GG, do you mean reward as in character / bike unlocks dude?

 

FMX mode is infuriating lol It's really random i have just managed to finish the second to last medium quad track trick challenge platinum, took some serious effort, found its a bit easier if you hold a trick and try and rotate the stick into a another rather
than trying to simple go left then spin a bit and go right but i am finding the sign one frustrating as, hard to remember what trick is what, not looking forward to the hard tracks now tho, but i am sure i will find the bits that shave serious seconds off
my time and eventually beat it..... extreme i cant bear the thought at the mo
