Will Xim and Zen applicants ever be banned?

This is not what he asked. He asked will Microsoft ever actually do anything against it (and other companies) reporting does nothing for it as they can make a new account, get a new xbox, ask their wifi provider to change ip addresses etc. Especially since you won't know their new account and 1 report isn't always enough

If you think a player has violated the Microsoft Code of Conduct, submit a report to Xbox. You can report a player’s behavior, use of external devices or specific content such as Club or Looking for Group (LFG) messages and activity feed items.

Please note that a suspension or permanent ban is not issued randomly and the enforcement team always needs to investigate the behavior. So, this can take a while if the player is guilty

rust console edition is full of cheaters and I have reported so many of them and also talked to the mods on the rust discord about the cheating issue and they say that it would be in my best interest to contact xbox about the issue so here I am and please make it harder for people to use xim and zen they are cheating devices you already support keyboard and mouse on console so the only reason people would use these devices is to play a game that doesn't not support keyboard and mouse so why not try to detect these devices and ban or suspend the people who try to use them

Microsoft already takes steps beyond most platform holders by including security chips in their peripherals, which are required to authenticate with the console,which mitigates, not prevents the problem by presenting additional obstacles.

Unless it is a Microsoft owned game, you will need to talk to the developers of the game for how they are attempting to detect and mitigate cheating devices. The best place to detect cheating is on the server side, and they own and/or control those servers. Xbox Live is an authentication and matchmaking service, and even if they are renting the servers from Microsoft, MS is only responsible for keeping the technology working, not the programs running on it

If you see someone cheating, report them using the guide, and also use any in-game reporting systems available. They have to know who to look at

I know I’m console banned, at least for now because it says “this console has been banned from the xbox network”.

I said “I thought xbox had some software that could detect xims” because I don’t have a xim. I don’t use xim. I’ve never had a xim plugged into my xbox, I have a wire mic and wired speakers. That’s it. I’ve never had a xim, I just took a picture off google and made it my profile picture to get people angry.
