    This feature is very important to me. Anyone know or have an idea when we might find out?

    Just because the S has it doesn't mean the X will., given how quick some companies have been to stop supporting it :/

    Yes the Xbox one will support 3d and also 4k. That was confirmed by major Nelson back in May.

    Blu Ray app not playing 3D discs

    Is anybody else having trouble playing 3D Blu Ray discs through their Xbox One X? I've tried 3 different 3D movies and none of them will play.

    It has been publicly stated that the Xbox One X is a member of the Xbox One family and has the same capabilities.

    This isn't a generational shift. Will Xbox One X support 3d blu rays? :)

    3D playback not working

    Xbox One supports 3D Blu-ray discs when played on 3D TVs. Try checking whether there are any updates for The Blu-ray player app

    Microsoft has only said it has a Blu Ray player in it. No info on if its a 3D ready blu ray drive or just standard

    And before anyone starts..... supporting 4K and 3D does not imply 3D Blu Ray ready Drive.

    I'm getting a bit concerned that maybe the Xbox One WILL NOT play 3d blu ray movies. This article was posted on Cnet being fairly sure it won't:

    When I tweeted Xbox Support they have no information at this time (despite telling someone in May it will play 3D blu rays).

    Is there an official word on the legitmacy of the Cnet article?
