Will Xbox One ever be full 1080p?

12 humans (6 vs. 6)

12 mechs (potential - i.e. one for each human)

24 AI bots (12 on each side).

Which makes the 48 total that Respawn have confirmed.

Thanks for the correction. For some reason I thought the higher number was the amount of bots, not combined.

 

I have Ps4 and Im asking the same question. It says 1080p but B4, Ghosts, killzone and Knack look good but their is lag and framerate problems sometimes. Im not seeing true 1080p running smooth 60fps alot. Killzone is the only real good looking game thats
close to 1080p looking. And Ac4. Good post.

 

Y are you wishing for a XO if you want one sell your ps4 and get one. Its not difficult. Or you just trolling?

 

Selling a 2nd hand PS4 wouldnt quite cover the costs of X1, and perhaps he wishes to keep his PS4 as well, he probably had a reasong going for it originally,

 

I dont have enough money for one atm. Im waiting till e2014 before I decide to sell my Ps4. To see whats coming out. I have 300 dollars saved up and I want the games also thats alot more than 500 dollars plus Xboxlive and the 4 games I want. Hopefully in
a month I can afford it. Where I live their isnt alot of xboxones atm. I never said I hate my Ps4 every system has problems. I just like the Xboxone games that I have seen. Even though im having problems on ps4 having both systems seems better.

T o answer the OP, the Xbox One is more than capable of 1080p and as soon as developers get to grips with the console then 1080p games will be rolling out.

Now as I own both consoles I need to comment on these 'frame rate' issues that some users seem to be saying the PS4 has in games like Ghosts etc. Load of rubbish. I have Ghosts on PS4 and have ploughed hours into into and the game is super smooth for me, I
have never seen a frame rate drop or had any gameplay lag at all.

Now I could just be lucky but I am 100% certain that the PS4 isnt suffering issues as bad as some users in this post claim it is.

 

U maybe are lucky then be happy. I see drops on my console everyday. But I still like it. But I will atleast admit it has problems which hopefully Ps4 will fix soon.

Xbox One has already got 1080p games and like someone else said, once developers get to grips better with the hardware I'm sure 1080p will be pretty much standard on most games.

I've played COD Ghosts on PS4, completed all of the campaign, played some co-op and had a few goes of Team Deathmatch, I've never seen any framerate drops, it's the smoothest COD title I've ever played. Sounds to me you might have a problem, maybe try re-installing
the game to see if that solves it.

As for the Xbox One and batteries, I'm lucky that I already have a charger kit but I like the PS4 idea better, no need to buy extra charger kits, batteries, when the controller gets low, just plug it into the console.

 

Yeah but recharging takes time and im not getting too many hours playing with it recharged. Plus if the controller brakes u have to buy a new 60 dollar one. I personally dont like playing while its connected I like wireless u can buy huge cheap packs of
batteries thats will last real long. Im sure ps4 will hopefully update that. Im att wireless for my Ps4 and its lighting fast I have reinstalled made no difference it still glitches and lags sometimes. Im sure Xboxone also does.

 

I've never had frame rate drops on either console, maybe you should see about having your system swapped out.

 

I'll take 720p upscaled with 60FPS over 1080p without a guaranteed 60FPS. The majority of people play with 32" TV's or smaller, I find it dumbfounding they argue about a resolution of which they'll never see the difference. That is all.

 

I think Ryse showed too that it doesnt have to be either 720p or 1080p. They went with 900p and ended up with easily one of the best looking next-gen games so far. Obviously it's sorta subjective what one thinks is the absolute best looking, but I guess
even the toughest X1 haters could admit that it looks amazing and comparable to just about anything 1080p on the PS4.

You can play whilst charging the controller, I don't see a problem here but if you really don't like playing when the controller is connected then there's nothing I can suggest to you.

Again with COD Ghosts, I've experienced no frame rate issues, lag etc. Not sure whether you have a faulty copy, a problem with your broadband or something else so here again I don't know what to suggest.
