    Will Xbox offer a comparable streaming service to Stadia?


    So Google has announced Stadia. What will Xbox offer to compete with this service to prevent gamers from leaving the platform? I feel like Xbox is on the edge of evolving to this option, but will it offer streaming video games? Will Xbox Live evolve
    into this? I realize this is a three part question but, I feel like this should be a topic worth exploring.

    Project xCloud I think is a similar experience to what Stadia will offer. And after having gotten hands on experience with xCloud at E3, it looks like it could be really promising tech. The latency was mildly noticeable, but other than that it was pretty
    smooth and flawless. I'm excited to see where it goes!

    I think Project xCloud will be great competition for Stadia. Microsoft has been working with cloud and streaming technology for a while so they know what they're doing.

    On E3 they talked about streamable consoles. So yes they will definetly announce and release it eventually.

    I believe as an Insider I will be a part of will be testing the new streaming service later this year, Project X Cloud prior to public launch.. I recall mention of turning our current Xbox Ones into a streaming server...... It uses MS Azure

    Google Stadia was actually born out of the now defunct On Live streaming service. Google purchased parts of the service as did Sony a few years ago after it closed down and have repurposed the tech for their own use. On Live failed partly due to laggy games,
    Bandwith not being strong enough to carry it. And we already know Sony has signed with MS to use the Azure service also....

    With project Cloud Microsoft has more than enough infrastructure to compete with Google. Even Sony knows that, as they asked Microsoft to provide them cloud service. Microsoft was prepared. It is the future, as Microsoft started with play anywhere program
    when Stadia wasn't even announced. So, yes, everything will evolve. With option for us old players to still use consoles and discs. Gaming is for everyone.
