    Will Xbox media hub work with xbox one x?


    I have an original Xbox as well as the Xbox media hub attachment with a HD inside for extra space. I want to get an Xbox one x but I don't think the media hub for original Xbox will connect to the 1X. Is there anyway I can utilize this setup or do I need
    to go with an all new HD now as well? Someone else has had to have had this problem

    I did an experiment. I felt the temperature of the console after hours of Forza Horizons 2 game play with the media hub attached. The next day I removed the media hub, and did an all-day-gaming session on Forza Horizons 2. Felt the console's temperature,
    and it felt the same. Conclusion: the collective minds media hub works as it should and will not cause your Xbox One to overheat.

    Console Not Responding Correctly & Changing Channels With Entone Media Hub

    I have an Entone Janus HD Media Hub, and it is not responding correctly with my Xbox One. Everything works correctly, except for changing channels. If I ask my Xbox to go to Cartoon Network for example, it will enter 4499 rather than 49. I've tried researching
    to make sure the remote code that my Xbox One detected is correct, but I was unable to find any useful information. I've went into my Janus HD Media Hub settings and changed the URC Delay Level to everything from 0 - 10 with no success. ANy useful information
    would be great.

    If you were able to use the Media Hub on the original Xbox One or an Xbox One S then it should work without issue on the Xbox One X. Apart from that as long as the hub is

    256GB or more and supports USB 3.0     then you should be able to use it.

    There are some USB 3.0 Hubs for the Xbox One. You can use any USB 3.0 Hub that works on a computer for that matter.

    An Xbox branded USB 3.0 Hub is the dreamGEAR Xbox One 3.0 USB Hub (although is not an Xbox nor Microsoft product).
