    Will Xbox live ever launch in Kenya?


    We have so many xbox gamers here but we are forced to purchase Xbox subscription for other region which is abit costly as well, despite the fact that we have (M-pesa) i have not seen Microsoft taking advantage of this. I think Microsoft could really benefit from this because M-pesa alone operates in nearly 6 countries in East Africa.it would be wonderful to actually have the xbox platform accept our currency.

    Thanks for reaching out to us. First of all, congratulations on your upcoming move to beautiful Kenya! You should not have an issue playing your Xbox console in Kenya once you determine the voltage difference. You can definitely purchase a different power
    supply for your console for that region if needed; however, Kenya is still not part of the countries/region where the Xbox Live service is supported. For a full list of the countries/regions that Xbox Live is supported,

    Xbox live is not available in Kenya, that's why you can't connect. Unfortunately, nothing can be done about it.
