    Will Xbox 360 Kinect work with Xbox One?


    I have Xbox 360 and might upgrade to Xbox one but would like to use my Kinect device. Wanted to find out if this is compatible or will I have to buy a new one?

    Urgently await the backward compatibility of the Harry Potter game for kinect. We believe in the competence of this company, Microsoft. Antecipadente thank the understanding of all and wait a positive response.

    Sorry to say but no Xbox 360 Kinect games will be made backwards compatible as they will not work with the Xbox One Kinect.

    The 360 Kinect is different from the Xbox One Kinect.

    No, it will not. You will need to purchase a Kinect that is compatible with the Xbox One console either in a bundle or separately. Your choice.

    The Xbox One Kinect Sensor only works on the Xbox One (or the One S w/ the adapter). The Xbox 360 Kinect Sensor only works on Xbox 360.

    No Xbox 360 games that require the Kinect for Xbox 360 sensor are back-compatible. All Xbox One titles that require or use Kinect for Xbox One will work with Xbox One X provided the user has the required Kinect Adapter for Xbox One S/X models.
