Will we see Custom Gamerpics hitting Xbox One anytime soon?

This is a feature I loved with the Xbox 360, and I was wondering if it'll be incorporated again!

Custom Gamerpic on Xbox One

Basically a couple of reasons for not allowing custom gamerpics on the Xbox One.

1: People will put up pornographic images

2: People will put up copyrighted pictures

There you go, that's basically the two reasons why we aren't allows to have custom gamerpics.

 

Any custom gamer picture won't upload on our Xbox profiles (Past 48 hours verification time).

UPDATE 2: When I'm signed out ans visit this post, I can see both gamerpics as the custom gamerpic. However, when I sign back in, it defaults to the non-custom one.

 

Freeform custom gamerpics? No, won't happen...because it would take too much policing by MS due to pRon pictures. Maybe they will add custom pictures relating to individual games, game screen shots, game achievement unlocks, etc.

PROM!"... lol With that said, Custom pics from that horrible Xbox 360 camera are still allowed as gamerpics today as far as I know. I imagine if they can "police" them on the 360 they should be able to on the One. (Fun Fact
- fewer people have a One than a 360) Maybe they can get some tips from Facebook on how to do it.

 

^Every xbox360 did not come with one of those horrible cameras. Willing to bet that the sample size of those cameras still in operation and being used to make a profile pic is very, very, small. Even at its peak, I rarely saw one of those grainy pics in
the profile shot. Yes, they probably could figure out a way to police, but it still adds more costs and personnel. Keep adding costs for trivial things and Live/Gold service price goes up.

 

How about just use your Facebook account pic

 

I don't see it happening, while we could use custom pics that friends could see, we never could make them public, and for good reason, I can just imagine what we would see, I'm sure the majority would behave, but the rotten apples would ruin it,

I have mentioned this before, I would quite like the ability to enlarge some of my 360 pics, like the ones you see here, I have suggested it, so fingers crossed.

 

Those that had them pictures could only be seen by friends only. I know I had my Miller High Life beer can as a picture. But for others in game that weren't my friend seen my old Atari symbol.
