Will we see a season 3 of The Walking Dead?

I just finished season 2 of The Walking Dead and I loved it so much. Now I was wondering, will we get a season 3? If so, when? I expect to get even better. Also, I noticed there was no season 2 section listed on the forums, so I'm posting this here.

We have a similar problem with justified season 4 and walking dead season 3. How frustrating!!! Ready to turn to another provider of this service.

 

Xbox Video Season Pass NOT WORKING

Ok so i buy the season 3 pass of the walking dead. Watch the whole season. Then the new episode came out last night, so i refreshed via account managment. I don't see season 3 anymore. Wait a hour, still i don't see season 3. Why can't i watch season 3 anymore!
I paid 50$ for microsoft points to buy it! Now it's not showing up! I can't just lose 50$ like that! Please Some one help!

 

That's cool, I like when people post here instead of the specific forums.

If it follows the same schedule I don't think we will see the first episode until March next year at minimum. I really enjoyed season two, even though I wasn't that attached to the characters, some of the decisions were still tough. I really love Clem though!

 

I'd love to see a season 3 but I hope they get a more regular schedule going on, perhaps having the first two or three episodes finished before they start releasing the series.

Season 3 was great when played in one block but the wait between episodes really killed the tension of the story.

 

^^ I agree with that. Start making them after the first few are finished so they can release them every two weeks or at most.

 

With the way the 2nd season ended, I would have to assume a 3rd season is in the works. My only concern is that if it releases on the One, how would it be able to read my game data from the first 2 seasons on the 360?

 

Season 3 was COMFIRMED at I think Gamescon. 100% confirmed. Won't get it anytime soon though due to Tales of Borderlands and Game Of Thrones from Tell Tell Games. It will be now gen only. The way they have done the endings shows it. Instead of all having
similar endings each ending at the end was completely different. So starting season 3 on last gen won't be able to handle the size. With Xbox One they can fit way more options and different choices and have a completely different experience someone else

@Eggnogga - I would assume there will be an import feature like Diablo 3 and Minecraft.

@Vaynel - I agree they should have a more steady release like an actual TV show, this is why I haven't played either season until I've had all episodes.

 

Thankfully everyone realised I meant season 2. Fingers working ahead of my brain in the previous post.

 

Season 3 has been confirmed

I loved the first season, i've held off on Season 2 since I heard it was coming to X1.

Buying the retail discs for both seasons when they come out in a few weeks, stoked!

 

I posted here because there was no destined area for season 2 anywhere and I figured it would get more replies here anyways.

Glad to hear season 3 is happening. I'd hate to see this end.
