Will Titanfall 2 Be A Timed Exclusive? Do You Even Care?

I thought the first game was so much fun, it ran brilliantly online, trouble is there's not many Player Vs Player games these days that hold my interest for long so for me to consider Titanfall 2 it would have to have a proper campaign, co-op/horde modes
from the start.

Now I haven't clicked on the original link in this thread but I see some here mentioning TF2 could run on the EA servers? If that was true then the game could have a 500 hour campaign and I would still AVOID

 

If Zampella didn't know about Xbox/PC exclusivity that means he wasn't aware that Titanfall will use Azure servers and cloud computing.

Especially when Respawn (not EA) asked and wanted these for Titanfall...And Microsoft was able to provide all of it.

 

Yet again Lloydy coming in talking rubbish. the beta was dif to the main game i played titanfall everyday for 2 months no other game i got no lag what so ever even when i connected to american servers and australian servers with friends i saw no lag. EA
servers are a joke thats why battlefield 4 was such a fail when it came out. EA was given worst company in america two times in a row. Azure was used for AI no matter what you say Lloydy but then again you wouldnt know as you only "played" the beta

 

WAIT did i just read that right. sony cant use Azure thats like a xbox one game using PSN us xbox gold users pay for Azure sony can never use Azure same with DirectX 12

 

Thousands of companies use azure. And you have a Sony bluray drive in your xbox one. Sony films on the movie store. Microsoft windows on Sony computers.

 

Sony do not own blu-ray, they are just one of many companies that founded it. Sony are pretty skint which is common knowledge, I'd seriously doubt they'd want to put cash in their very rich rivals pocket unless they really really needed to.

 

Its EA that were using azure...

That statement couldn't be any further from the truth - if it were true, a ton of other EA games would've had better networking by NOT running on EA servers...

Respawn' Titanfall.Own and made by Respawn.

Respawn asked for dedicated servers,cloud computing not EA.

If it was EA,it will runs on EA servers like every others EA online games.

 

tried the first game kinda "bought" into the hype but was overall disappointed in the game. so for the part 2 don't really care.

 

It's hard to believe that this time last year, fanboys were calling Titanfall everything from a "console seller" to a "COD killer". They absolutely loved all things Titanfall. Now from what I see, there seems to be very
little interest in a 2nd one. Maybe it's because it's not that "exclusive" that a lot of those "fans" thought it would always be?

 

Don't care and it shouldn't be. If a game is coming out and I want it it is really unfortunate when companies do this and make it a timed exclusive. Equality for all.

Think of it this way, what if PS or Nintendo did this same thing to XB1, doesn't feel so good does it. Bad practice I'd like to see go.
