will this game blow on the One?

IGN will be showing Xbox One footage this week so we will get to see.

 

The game with run brilliantly on all consoles.

 

Pretty sure Sony probably pays to have Destiny shown off on the PS4 during events and stuff like that.

 

I think the game will run best on ps4, xb1, and pc. I am a gta5 gamer mostly now days, and I can honestly saw now, that xbox 360 is good, but can not handle all these new games that are coming out now. I think that is why these new consoles are out now.

 

been watching PS4 beta twitch feeds and still not all that impressed by the game play/weapons. The game is pretty , but that is it, that I have seen. Sadly atm max level is 8 in beta watched someone gain lvl 8 and it said that 8 was the max level for beta,
but who knows.

From some of the comments in the streams the story mode part might be rather short. I am sure most don't care about the story mode, But I do and depending on how things play out in the beta will depend on whether or not I cancel my preorder.

 

I can't see how anyone playing the beta can say the story is short.

The beta is only a fraction of the main game and only has about 5 story missions in it.

The beta doesn't even leave earth but it's mentioned in the game upgrading the ship to travel to other planets.

not sure how many other planets there are you can visit although I believe the moon is one of them as that is in the beta but locked out.

 

Some of the documentary videos I've seen have had a few devs say that the end of the story mode is just the beginning of the game's content. Cancelling a preorder based on 'hearing' that the story is short would be a pretty poor reason, IMO.

 

I'm currently playing the PS4 version and it's VERY nice, some bugs/crashes but very promising. Even though the PS4 will probably look better than the X1 edition, I'm getting the X1 too mainly for the multiplayer pvp: that is the one aspect that I find lacking
on the PSN, connections are not very good. For instance, I played BF4 and COD on PS4, with some bad lag. I play them on the X1 with no problem whatsoever.

It's a great game, tho, and the beta even if it's (currently) capped @ lvl 8, there's a LOT to do.

 

Played it yesterday on my buddy's PS4. Looked great, played great and I can't wait to play this on Xbox later this week. I'm looking forward to seeing more of the story and strike missions.

 

I have played the beta on ps3 for a couple days. the overall game is good but there are side missions that you get from green beacons scattered around the world, those missions make the game feel very reparative.

 

Those green beacon missions are optional and in the beta only appeared on the exploration level.

You don't have to do them. That level is meant for free roaming and totally optional. You can do those beacon missions if you want or you can just explore and do whatever you want.

Personally I explored the outer areas of the map where the enemies were so tough at level 20 it was impossible to survive with the betas level cap.

Ya know I dont think it will necessarily "blow"...the fact that PS4 is getting all these exclusives though does "blow" on the other hand. I guarantee it will be a long playing game for everyone and I can't wait for it though.

 

The exclusive content is timed so xbox will get it eventually.

I wouldn't worry about it though as once you have leveled up enough the exclusive gear will probably be useless.

 

is this game like defiance? MMO CO Op or is it another fps that is just like COD where players have to kill each other?
