will this book teach me how to code

Well there are a lot of books that will teach you how to code especially if you already have some basic knowledge, there's no perfect book, read the reviews and check the correct one for you.

C is a good video game language but requires a lot of skills

You can also get game programing books on c but as mentioned it does take a lot of filling in or you will be completely lost without the basics

i was only teach base ik reading and spelling i was teach more by video then book's i cant remenber by book only video i can lean or watch others do some thing .

What Springer said. Eventually, the wizard will say something about teaching you how to create your own staves & that room (which was previously locked) will be opened & the black book is right there -- can't miss it.
