If you continue to have a suspension and then, yes that may affect your account in the future. Continuous breaking of Xbox Community Standard may cause our account to be permanently suspended.

thankyou had to send a refund request as it said my order was on the 29/03 however the money was not taken until 14/04. Hopefully this will sort things out as i dont want to have to go through my bank for the refund in case it affects my account in the
future if i decided to return to xbox.

To add to this with a ban in the bio section they will take away your ability to edit and have a bio.

Yes. Suspension length is determined by the severity of the situation as well as any previous suspensions on your account. So you can get a longer ban or a permanent ban for something severe, but if you continue to do something smaller, like what you were
suspended for previously, the length will increase with each suspension until it ultimately ends with a permanent ban.
