Will there evr be a wireless "chat only" headset for the one?

How can there still be no equivelant for the one yet? I know there are full blown surround sound headsets that are now wireless, but none for chat only.

As a farther of a young child i need to able to listen out for her in case she starts crying, and this means that i always have to have one ear free thus ruling out the turtle beaches and the like. Ive lost count of the amount of times she has suddenly cried
and i take off from my desk with the controller bouncing behind me still attached to the headset im wearing...

I know im not the only person out here that would benifit from this product finally coming to market, so please get a wriggle on Microsoft or any other third party

There is only one completely wireless headset for the 360, the Tritton Warhead. All other wireless headsets use a chat cable to go from the 360 controller to the headset. MS has said there is an adapter solution coming to allow existing chat cable headsets
to attach to the new Xbox One controller.

Yes i do, i want a fully wireless headset for the X1. no reason it can't be done using wifi direct

 

Doesnt the adaptor allow you to control voice and game sound seperate? If you can find a headset that outputs sound to the tv at the same time you could just turn the game volume down to 0 on the headset.

 

But i would still need to wear one ear and tuck the other behind my ear (so one ear is free to listen out) and that becomes unconfortable very quickly.

Also this would be the equivalent of buying diamonds to make a turd shine because you cant be bothered to find the glitter...

 

I am shocked that there hasn't been an announcement for a blu tooth wireless head set for the Xbox One yet. I have the Turtle Beach Ear Force Stealth 500X, I love them, but I would like a chat only headset as a back up.

 

I had the Xbox 360 Bluetooth Wireless headset. It looked cool. It looked sleek. I watched these two funny videos on Youtube by Microsoft of this old chubby man using the headset. But many including me, found out we had to SHOUT into the headset for it to
pick up our voice. They must have made poor voice receptors for it. I use the Turtlebeach X42 for Xbox 360 and Xbox 1. On Xbox 1, I use the Kinect for voice chat. Another thing I love about the X42's is it uses a dual band 2.4Ghz/5Ghz wi-fi frequency which
eliminates interference by common 2.4Ghz devices. And you can use it to listen to game sound it has Dolby 5.1 which is yummy. Also with Xbox 360's wireless headset, it doesn't pick up your voice very well. I opened up my Xbox 360 Dashboard Xbox Guide Menu,
went to Xbox Live Party, talked and the mic symbol next to my gamertag didn't move. I shouted.... that made the mic thing move. Not everyone on Xbox is rowdy, the same gender, the same age.

 

That headset use to RRP in NZ for NZ$69.95. I threw it out though. I was in my legal rights able to go back to the retailer and ask for a refund or replacement. Excuse me, but this headset has poor voice receptors. Under the Consumer Gaurantees Act... (NZ
and Australia have greater legal consumer rights). Others on Xbox 360 have commented or complained about the voice receptors in the mic.
