    Will there ever be new backwards compatible original Xbox games?


    I really love the original Xbox--I even have a working console myself! I like playing it's games especially on 360 or One. I was wondering if there will be more original Xbox bc games on 360 and One, such as gta 3, gta vice city, halo ce, halo 2, etc.
    Last time I checked the amount of bc games is 46 and the last time it was updated was in late 2018. I would also like to see original xbox and 360 games be on gamepass.

    Hello, Im pretty sure at some point in the they will add more to the list. I know is a forum that lets you suggest what game you would like to see backwards compatibility on.

    The BC program is suspended until Series X. As a market lider in this feature I believe that Microsoft will add more games to BC program.

    I'd say the Guitar Hero games might prove to be trickier than most given the music licensing issues that haunt many games, they're typically only for say 5 years and then expire.
