Will there ever be console mode on Windows 10/11?

Its all mostly gamers here such as yourself who respond here. Most people who respond here dont work for Microsoft.

And running games on a non supported platforms would present major legal risk to ms and will end quickly with publisher permissions

If they had permission to run consoles games on pc without buying.a.different version you would.have more play.anywhere titles

If PCs had a 'console mode' there wouldn't be much point of Microsoft making and selling consoles. Besides, PC's are not fixed hardware like a console, and many PCs are completely incapable of playing high end games anyway regardless.

Alright, it seems to be that the cause is that you are using the Windows 10 or 11 in S mode that's why you are unable to download the app. You can try to follow the steps from this link to switch it to Windows 11 Pro but you won't be able to switch it back to S mode already, https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/swi...

Just trying to make sure the circumstances here, So u were on windows 10 before? U recently upgraded to Windows 11, 5 days ago? Also do u ever recall this happing on windows 10? When u were using the controller? Did u ever look at reliability monitor in windows 10?
