Will there be another full new Fable game for Xbox one? Or is the series dead?

Has Microsoft turned there back on the amazing Fable franchise or are they taking control of developing the franchise like they did with Halo/343 industries, and Gears of war/The coalition?

Reviving the Fable Series

I just have to say and hopefully this draws attention, when I was growing up I had a few games with my original Xbox. Halo combat evolved, MechAssault, JetSetRadioFuture and Fable. Obviously Halo was the original bang and made what Microsoft is today
i'd like to believe. It was a way of rocketing off of their success with such a genius game. But the xbox also needed other games besides this first person shooter, and in my experience the original first fable had what people wanted. It was always a game
of discovery and it brought every aspect into one. It was a well put together game that wasn't one of those other game campaigns that you could maybe get a solid 12 hours outta the whole campaign. It was a game that kept on giving, in a way it was like world
of Warcraft. You were directed to do quests but you weren't required too. Anyhow it was a great game, critics can argue. The game turned around when Fable 2 and Fable 3 and journey were released. There was already so much mystery to be discovered already in
the first game and they jump ahead hundreds of years. The original fable had a library full of books that kept giving information about what had happened in the past and how the guild came to be, also scythe what about the immortal man that cheats death? Also
to include that in Fable 2 they kept supplying onto the story of before fable 1 with William black stories which they kept diving into in all the future fables. They needed to STOP, Lionhead studio's had went to far in time and should have slowed down. If
they wanted a successful franchise they would have dove into preguild and how jack of blades came to be and all of this. They needed to explain everything on the chicken chaser from fable 1. They missed so much from fable and before fable that they screwed
there selves. I have no idea if anybody even remembers this game, and considering most of the population of xbox gamers i run into are all around the teen ages, they most likely are clueless about Fable or how the plot went. But if there was still a way to
revive the fable series by bringing the original back to attention, and getting a lot of people to take interest I believe making a new game that is in the same format but is based on pre-fable that it could make a great game. It would have been a great game
originally, but it was all in the wrong hands which made it turn out where it is now.

Wait, is this the next full game in the series? Please tell me it isn't...Ezio again? Ubisoft killed yet another series and is farming it for cash? Or do they just lack the ambition to try something new?
