    Will the XBOX SERIES X allow for more inputs than there is now?


    For sim racers, many steering wheels have multiple buttons or rotary dials for different functions. Currently, you can only map however many buttons are available to the controller. Will the new Xbox fix this to allow for more controller customization
    within games?

    It's debateable as to which is longer lasting...the Series X has more power but also is enclosed in a much bigger case allowing more airflow.

    Given the games you are playing and your lack of need of a drive, I'd say the Series S would be more than enough

    Xbox Series X HDCP Issue

    It’s not the TV I have no problems with my Xbox 1X or my PS5 they work perfectly fine same TV same receiver same eARC setup.

    I’ve already done multiple factory resets.

    Between the HDCP problem and the horrible input latency my Series X is nothing more than a paper weight.

    I’m not the only user having HDCP issues with the Series X and Series S especially when using eARC there are 100’s of complaints on this forum and Reddit.

    Xbox One X uses HDMI 2.0 and HDMI 2.0 bandwidth can only do 4K at 60hz,

    HDMI 2.1 of the Xbox Series X will allow it to go to 4K at 120hz, but only if you have a TV or monitor with HDMI 2.1, and a refresh rate of 120hz or higher.

    I have just spent a lot of money with Fanatec why can't I use all the functions on my csl fanatec steering wheel with my series x

    This is incorrect. The issue is with Xbox and Microsoft, because other brands such as Thrustmaster and now Moza have the same problem. Xbox will not allow any more inputs than a standard Xbox controller. This also includes types of inputs (ex. Toggles & Dials).

    Please stop pointing fingers at the Sim brands because if they could they would. They have with PlayStation 5.
