Will the XBOX One X improve older games that aren't patched?

I see, but does the Xbox One S also provide the benefit of evening out the framerates, improved texture filtering and faster load times? Is the only benefit to the Xbox One X the increased resolution and having those enchanced / patched games, when compared

The game updates are issued from the developer. Such as day one patches and etc.

They require these. Download speed does seemed to be locked at a certain pace though regardless of internet.

Older model Xbox One's obviously suffering from this more then the S and X.

A common problem when running newer games on such older hardware like the original Xbox One and Xbox One S. The Xbox One lacks the processing and graphics power of the Series X and S consoles. I'm afraid there isn't anything you can do to improve things
on your Xbox One. You'll need a Series X or S to get a better visual experience.

Luckily if or when you buy a Series X or S, your game will be updated to the Series version for free.

From what I’ve been reading framerates won’t improve without a game having an X patch. However even without a patch the extra power of the X “should” even out the framerates, have improved texture filtering, faster load times and better native resolution.
