    Will the Xbox one X become obsolete after the lunch of Scarlet


    So I plan on getting the Xbox one X because my og xbone is very faulty. But i don't want to get the Xbox one X then have to upgrade two years or so later because no games are releasing on the Xbox one X

    I just want it to be worth my money because I don't plan on buy the Scarlet right away. Do we have any confirmation that the Xbox one X will be forwarding compatible? Or at least usable in the future ( being around 2021 )

    I dont have any doubt the once x will be usable well into the scarlet's lifecycle. Given how the 360 can still work online but they just recently stopped publishing games for it years into the Ones lifecycle should give you an idea of the overlap.

    I think it will still be supported for a looooong while. As far as I know the Xbox One X will stil be comaptible with new releases as well.

    It won't be obsolete per se next year when Scarlett launches. But it will definitely be the more affordable version of the two for people wanting a beefy system.

    I think, the XBOX One X replace the XBOX ONE S and is usable so around 2024.
