Will the Xbox One play games smoothly on this monitor?

I have a samsung S27C570H monitor and I've had issues with occasional stuttering on ps3 and 360 but I think it's because the older hardware is trying to output to such a big screen seeing as the stuttering improved when I bought the newest console
models.

If I get an xbox one, will I still have stuttering issues? If I will, is there a cheap HDTV I could get as a replacement that will play smoothly?

I have been playing on xbox 360 the past 4 years.

I have come to terms that I can't play certain games because of my connection.

On the 360 I could play Dark Souls 2 fairly smoothly with the to be expected lag; but now I cannot play on the xbox one witb the scholar of the first sin edition.

Any idea's as to what I can do to fix this? Or am I doomed to offline play now?

Yup. Just look at his Twitter feed, and you will see where his bias lies.

He's honestly so immature that he trolls Major Nelson and other Xbox employees.

I'd be willing to bet money there's a reason he's a "former" IGN editor.

 

The Xbox One supports max. resolution of 1920x1080px @60Hz (i. e. FullHD). So I'd suggest to just give it a try. If that doesn't work with your monitor any FullHD TV will work.
