  1. Will the xbox one headset adapter make the controller output game sound in any headset?

Hi everybody, Before I buy the headset adapter I want to completely make sure that I will be able to get game audio through my controller. My question is; Will I be able to use my 3.5mm mp3 headphones with the adapter? Thanks in advance.

    :)

  2. My xbox can't recognize my hdmi. Please help.

    Hi buddy.

There are a few options for getting sound. The Xbox One has an optical audio output on the back. Also you can plug a headset into the controller and get sound that way. If the controller is an older controller you'd have to get yourself a Stereo Headset
adapter, however the newer controllers have a headset port in them. These get game sound as well as chat.

If you need more details, let me know.

Xbox One Stereo Headset Adapter - echoing problems?

So I picked up the Xbox One stereo headset adapter yesterday, updated my controller and plugged in my Sony Pulse Edition headset. The sound and chat output sounded great! However, the people in my party kept hearing their own voices echo. I tried another
headset (Razer Eelctra) and the same problem arose.

Any one have a problem around this? Or is this just something I'm going to have to accept?

  4. Will the xbox one headset adapter make the controller output game sound in any headset?

Xbox One Stereo Headset Adapter used a 3.5mm, 4 pole phone plug. Which has both game and chat sound to stereo headset and mike output. The connection on the 3.5mm, 4 pole phone plug are: left, right, mike, ground.

  5. I own the adapter and can say that you can simply connect any headphones. Tested with my iphone earbuds, a standard set of earbuds, and my AD700s. All worked well with IMO impressive audio for wireless. It even comes with the adapter that allows you to
go from a 3.5mm to 2.5mm mic adapter.

I like the option to balance the game and voice.

I ordered a 3.5 mm 4-Pin to 2X 3-Pin 3.5 mm Headset Splitter Adapter which should let me connect a headset and mic or use either independently if wanted.

The inline mic wouldnt not work with my wife's iphone earbuds, i havent tried my Blackberry set yet. I'll post my results later today.

  6. Yes, you will be "able to use my 3.5mm mp3 headphones with the adapter"

If you want to use a mic along with your headphones you will need to buy a 3.5mm headset splitter.

You can also use earbuds or IEM but if they have an inline mic, the mic will not work.

    STEREO HEADSET ADAPTER

    Hello Sugar2Kocaine,

When you say "adapter", are you referring to the "Xbox One Stereo Headset Adapter" ? If so, we have two of them and both work well, even after the
new update. They came with our "Xbox One Stereo Headset", and I think they are the best headsets you can get for the money. With that said, the first thing I
would do is double check >All settings >Settings > Display & sound >Volume >Chat mixer and
Party chat output Headset . Next, are you using the newer "Xbox Wireless Controller" with the built-in 3.5mm stereo headset jack?
Then, remove the adapter and just try plugging your headset directly into the controller to see if you can hear the audio and chat. If that doesn't work, as a test, may I suggest using the USB cable and connect the controller to your Xbox. If you still cannot
hear anything then I recommend following up with "Update your Xbox One Controller" .
