Will the XB1 get better?

i also heard the Next Halo will have Ryse looking Graphics.

 

Consoles never get better,games never get better,features never get better,online never get better.....

No differences between Atari 2600 and current gen console....Nothing change since the 70's.....Hard time for gamers.

 

It will definitely get better when they release the new console, software updates alone will not cure the current problems. As it was with the 360 so it shall be with the ONE, console upgrades. I'm so pleased I waited and stuck with the trusted 360. 'Cause
I really don't want to go over to the "Dark Side" (PS4).

 

Why do people keep going on about ryse visuals they are very pretty but no way are they the best next gen graphics, for me it's forza and killzone(sp) but then again graphics is not the no.1 priority IMO gameplay is

 

I honestly think both next gen systems are under powered, we have got loads of Ram but mid range graphic cards in them.

I think this has a whole lot to do with both companies being determined not to sell the consoles at a loss this cycle. I defiantly don't think they will last 8 years like the previous gen.

 

well, I can tell you after 4 weeks of having an XB1 hooked up to TV and cable box, I could not imaging going back to a "regular" console.....As you use it you will slowly realize what MS has in store. Even simple things, like when I leave the house, say
XB1 Turn off, yes and it shuts down everything...without having to find the damn remote...or when I get an incoming call and say "xbox mute".....to checking on friends activity while sitting at my workstation nwith a simple voice command......and even the
integration with Smartglass...all awesome!...

 

Ive had Ryse and heard before I played it how its got the best visuals of the Next Gen consoles.. didn't blow me away, some parts it looked nice but most seemed grainy? Forza does look good tho. My main beef is compairing the 2 consoles version of BF4 there's
a massive difference between PS4 and XB1. I do think multiplatform games like BF4/COD ect will be much better looking on PS4 down the line, hopefuly XB1 exclusives will make up for that.. (which is the reason im on XB1 for the exclusives)

And yes I do understand that its early doors in the XB1 life and games will look and play better in a year or two

 

Did any PS1 gamers care that the graphics looked awful compared to the N64? Same with PS2 to xbox and gamecube. Graphics and hardware don't always make the better console. I buy the machine that has the most appealing games to my taste, and that for me is
the xbox.

 

You need a better TV buddy.

Doesn't sound like your current one is doing your XBox justice.

Anyone who thinks it's more expensive to play on a PC really should have a very good read of the Eurogamer article linked in that OCN thread. For an even better experience it wouldn't cost a significant amount more.

 

The Xbox One is better right now. With Titanfall and Twitch broadcasting arriving it just feels like the whole community and console has suddenly opened up and come to life. It feels like the 360 did, only much better!

This is just the start.

time finding friends to play with BECAUSE most of them are watching Netflix, Hulu, or TV - where they can't even see my messages or invites pop-up as a notification. It's frustrating because I like to play for the social experience & I don't get it as much
as I did on the Xbox 360, at least not yet.

 

It will get better. I do agree though that BF4 looks a million times better on the PS4.

 

A million times better? Hardly.

Perhaps if you were playing it at a native 4k resolution on a PC, then yeah you could say that.
