    The US has announced a price drop to $349 (~£262)

    Will the UK do something similar ?

    A lot of UK buyers will now hold off a purchased thinking that a UK annoucement is imminent

    The download price for zoo tycoon has dropped to $39.99 in the US. Any chance of a similar price drop in the UK? It's still listed as £49.99.

    As you have heard the price drop in U.S but is they going to be a further price drop here in the UK you think?

    $450 = £270

    I assume a U.S machine does not work in the UK? or does it?

    Since the announcement that the U.S is getting a temporary price drop there have been whispers we could see something similar here in the UK but no official word as of yet.

    It's made me hold off for a couple of days from pre-ordering a console hopefully something will be announced soon I'm not going to wait too long !

    It's currently £37.24 at Amazon. I can see Amazon dropping their price below the £34.99 mark. What MS are charging UK customers for the digital download is the same price US customers pay for a disk based version.

    UK getting shafted as usual.

    The second price drop in about a month

    To drop prices twice so soon is a smack in the face for the most loyal customers who bought at launch or soon after

    Rrp was £430 at launch,games rrp £60. So £350 including a game is a price drop of £140 in real terms, just 4 months after launch

    It smacks of desperation, but they have to do something

    Whilst the xbone is selling well in usa, in uk & europe it simply isn't. It comes down to supply and demand.

    Personally I'd rather they kept the price the same and used that money to develop games. Games sell consoles.
