    Will the hits in NHL 15 actually impact game play?


    I have been an avid NHL player for more than a decade, however, the way hits impact the game have always bothered me. When NHL14 came out, I had high hopes that hitting would actually impact the game.

    In most NHL online versus games, I outhit the other team 5 to 1, but still they are relentless, and have no fear of the next hit.

    Hitting is a large component of actual hockey, and a team that dominates the game physically will more than likely outplay their opponent. I just hope that EA recognizes this, and at least make hitting take away the endurance of the opposing team.

    It would encourage poke check-aholics to gradually shift to a more physical strategy rather than staying backing swinging there stick back and forth hoping to get lucky (which is what usually happens).

    Any thoughts?

    "Online Team Play" will be rolled out, but they do not give a timeline on it.

    However, I believe when you are saying you want to play in a "league", you're referring to the EASHL mode. (Forgive me if I'm wrong)

    Via the same link above, they confirm that this mode will NOT be added to NHL 15 on xbox one or PS4. So if this is what you are looking for, you will need the 360 or PS3 version of the game.

    So, it is actually NOT coming in a future DLC release.

    "As a franchise, we’re 100% committed to the EA SPORTS Hockey League. While we can’t deliver EASHL in NHL 15 on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4, we have huge plans for the mode in future iterations of the game."

    The classifications don't actually rate things on ages though but the impact level of the content. For example, the fact that it's a point and click adventure removes an element of immersion from the game that would lower the impact of the game. It would
    be closer to watching a movie then it is playing a game where you are immersed into a character.

    So MA 15+ rates the impact of classifiable content as 'high'. 'High Levels of Violence', 'High levels of swearing' etc. R 18+ requires the impact to be 'strong'. As in 'strong levels of violence' or 'strong levels of swearing'.

    It's amazing how much goes into classifications.

    I've cleaned out the console cache as well as every step offered to me online and thru support. Its every game not just certain games. Rage 2 and NHL 15 for me. NHL 15 worked for me before this started to happen.
