    Will the Game DVR get some love?


    It's been almost 10 years and Xbox still has only up to 5 minute clips. Capturing in different resolutions and HDR modes is still a mess getting it to work properly.

    And most importantly why the hell we don't get gamechat when we clip things? It's 2022 and this is still a thing we haven't gotten. PS5 has up to 15 minutes with gamechat and the clip editor is super lightweight unlike the Xbox clip studio, which is great but it's ultra slow and I'd rather just upload to the cloud and edit on my PC

    Can I stop games from auto recording clips?

    I have a feeling this change will come soon. It seems silly that we can't control this currently. I would love to have my game DVR on so I could catch some awesome moments, but I can't stand the constant auto recordings. Some games are worse than others.

    Sorry to hear it. Can you try holding the power button on the console for 10 seconds until it shuts down to see if that solves the issue?

    Hello everyone :)

    I love the " Play your own music from your HDD anytime that you want to from the Xbox 360 " and I have a question that is directed towards those that love the Game DVR on the Xbox One.

    How would you feel if the Game DVR was completely removed in the next Xbox console? Once you've answered this question, that is exactly how I feel (sad because it is gone).

    Just for the record, I applaud Microsoft for implementing this new feature (Game DVR) into the Xbox One, but I don't care about it at all.

    We are continuing to investigate audio issues when playing some Game DVR clips on some Android devices/OS versions. We are sorry for the inconvenience and appreciate your feedback on devices/OS versions where you are encountering this.

    @Smartee, while some Android devices have an issue where audio does not play when watching game DVR clips, we have not seen this issue on any iOS devices. Is this happening on all game DVR clips?
