    Sorry for posting this in the English part of the forums but both in the German part and on Twitter MS is very silent when I ask this question.

    Soo.... Will the digital TV tuner made and sold by Microsoft receive a codec support to display the free-2-air DVB-T2 programs in Germany? Unfortunately we use a different codec than the rest of Europe for DVB-T2 so either the tuner needs to be updated or
    it will need to be removed from the market.

    What will it be?

    Hello,

    I try to watch TV with a DVB-T2 rod antenna, the Digital TV tuner (USB) on the XBOX One.

    If I carry out the channel search, the XBOX One finds no channels.

    So here are my question:

    1. Does the Digital TV Tuner (USB) work with a DVB-T2 rod antenna at all?

    If the Digital TV Tuner (USB) work with a DVB-T2 rod antenna at all, so what am I doing wrong?

    Hi PCF,

    the tuner supports HD digital terrestrial and cable TV standards: DVB-T2, DVB-T and DVB-C - but only free-to-air channels.

    Do you have a viewing card/smart card for your channels via Sat or Cable? The TV Tuner will not work if the channels are encrypted and require a smartcard to decrypt.

    I am from Germany and I was following the tuners installation giude exactly ... tryed different positions for the DVB-T2 rod antenna ...

    tryed resets of the OneGuide settings ...

    DVB-T2 signal is active because I have set up an top receiver box on my other TV with this DVB-T2 rod antenna ...

    XBOX One is up to date ...

    Digital TV Tuner and Freesat? (UK)

    Unfortunately, the digital TV tuner will not work with Freesat. Freesat uses the DVB-S (Satellite) broadcast standard, whereas the Digital TV Tuner only supports DVB-T (Terrestrial).

    If you have the official
    Xbox One Digital TV Tuner    , then it should work with a DVB-T2 rod antenna as is stated on the article I linked. However, it's only supported in limited regions. Those include France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Australia, and the United Kingdom.

    Do you fall under any of those regions or do you live outside of those regions?

    Let me know to see if that's the reason why no channels are found.

    singapore.. the tuner is correct because it supports dvb-t2.. the problem is the postal code is incorrect.. my xbox is set to singapore location..
