    Will Red Dead 2 come back to games pass?


    got the disc edition on xbox console so decided to find out if it was possible to play it on cloud gaming since I prefer using the pc

    found a bunch of articles saying red dead 2 was on games pass but seems these articles are historic since I cant find it anywhere and I have the ultimate subscription

    Do you reckon they'll bring it back or once a game gets removed does it stay gone forever?

    This is the only negative quirk of ultimate games pass, if you dont have your own copy of a game you cant get too used to it because they could always wind up pulling it from the library

    Did you purchase the full game Red Dead Redemption 2 or did you purchase Red Dead Redemption 2: Story Mode, which is an add-on for Red Dead Online? If you purchased Story Mode, then you need to purchase Red Dead Online to keep using the add-on. Story Mode is not a stand alone game. Red Dead Online used to be on Game Pass but was removed back in September.

    As mentioned before, this is unkown, okay? In my opinion, it is hard for a game that leaves a subscription to come back, since I have never seen this before, but I cannot say it is impossible either.

    So what we can do is wait and see if it will come back one day.

    And this is how it is for all subscriptions, not only Ultimate. Games on subscription services come and go, but it is fair, since we pay so little to play so much, right?

    I bought red dead 2 a while back and I uninstalled it but recently I reinstalled it and for some reason it says I didn’t o purchase it

    Did you purchase the full game or did you purchase Red Dead Redemption 2: Story Mode? For Story Mode, you also need to own Red Dead Online. Back when Red Dead Online was on Game Pass, you could just buy Story Mode and have access to it because Online was available through Game Pass. Since Online has been removed from Game Pass, you need to also own Red Dead Online because Story Mode is just considered DLC for Red Dead Online.
