    Will Previously Downloaded Games Move?


    I have been playing Destiny since day one on my 360, and I have been contemplating buying an xbox one black Friday. if I buy the Taken King (Destiny 2) to download through the 360 , will I be able to re-download it on the Xbox One?

    Cant Play previously downloaded games.

    G'day Mantis! Did you perform the license transfer with the account that owns all of the content? And was it done most recently on this console, or on another console?

    If it was done on this current console, use the old account to delete the content, and then re-download it from the old account's Download History.

    Hi,

    There's no way to transfer that content from one account to another. If you purchased this content on another account using the same console you'll need to download that profile and try to re-download those items.

    If the account that made these game purchases did not make them using this console then you will need to do a license transfer after downloading that account onto this console by following the directions
    here. This will make it so all profiles on that console can play games that other profiles have purchased on the same console.

    If the account in question that purchased these items is banned that would mean that all content that this account has purchased is void and all licenses are stripped.

    No. Buying DLC for an Xbox 360 game, even if it's on the Xbox One, would only work on that version of the game. If you'd want to get that DLC for the One version, you'd need to buy it separetly.

    No you will not be able to re-download it on Xbox One. If you want that DLC, then just buy the Xbox One version instead of the Xbox 360 version.

    The One was not made to be backwards compatible. So it will not work with any 360 games. This was made known before the One was released.

    Your download history will still be attached to your account, but you will need a 360 if you wish to continue playing those games.

    Thanks for the response, but they are not showing up in my Ready to Install. They are also not in my account. Might be because they are old (they are for my original Xbox One, which was about 3 years old....)

    Hi Peter_Gamer,

    If you had codes for GOW 1-3 they should be linked to your account. If you look in the Ready to Install section of My Apps & Games you should see them. It is a pain to have to download again but as you cant connect you Xbox to a screen, it will be very difficult
    to do anything.
