Will own both consoles

You PC players are so narrow minded. Current Consoles may not be able to graphically compete with high end PC's. But some people dont want to keep having to upgrade their PC to play the newest games.

Ask yourself if a PC running on 256MB of RAM could run games like God of War, Uncharted 3, support 256 players online... Consoles will always be better investments for the sole reason we pay 1 set price for an optimized box that gets improved & pushed over
5 - 7 years.

 

@fatalshock ohh alright i see ur point. I love both consoles and at the moment i only own the xbox one .. I am loving titanfall thats that ! Lol and my above post is not to you by the way.

 

I want Titanfall so badly. One more work day, one more work day...

 

I have a PS4. It's a pretty solid system. Currently my ONE gets a lot more use. A lot more. Forza5, Dead Rising3 , Peggle 2 and now Titanfall.

Infamous Second Son looks good but I question how much replay it will give me. Titanfall on the other hand I will be playing for a long, long while.

High end? No. Mainstream parts are more capable than what shipped in the Xbox One and
PS4. PCs had the same or better graphics than Xbox One and PS4 back in early 2010. These consoles are over 3.5 years behind the high end PC curve. That's two generations of GPUs.

With this generation, people won't have to. Buy a $200 graphics card now and one is so far ahead of both console GPUs that an upgrade won't be needed for years.

 

A PC running with 265 MB of RAM? What is this 1995? lol. Cellphones these days come with more memory than that.

 

@icestorm i dont game on pcs. So when ever u see me post a thread in the future about consoles understand that i dont care about PC gaming & some here don't care either lol maybe thats what i should have said in my first post to you.

 

If im talking about graphics or resolution on consoles im talking about consoles not PC which is a platform. If i want the highest quality console then thats what im talking about CONSOLES. You think people aren't aware of what pcs are capable of? You come

With all do respect SMG, I don't think the discussion your having here is of any importance. I mean you don't have to announce that you will own all consoles unless you're looking to spark a negative reaction. Many people here own multiple systems and don't
brag about it. Whatever happens enjoy your PS4 and try to give it at least a good run before you go selling it again.

And what do those parts cost? To setup a comparable system you're looking at nearly twice the price of a console even these days, and MANY times the hassle of setting up a console. You also bring up 2010 when those parts were easily 4x the cost of a console
these days. I really don't know why people insist on trying to compare PC's to consoles.

Not hardly. $200 gets you an *almost* comparable GPU, though you really can't compare those to an APU that was built for gaming. Show me a GPU, motherboard, case, processor, PSU, hard drive, RAM, OS, wifi adaptor, IR blaster, and controller all assembled
and ready for action for anywhere near $400 and then you have a point. Until then, stop trying to compare apples to oranges.

There's no question that there are advantages to PC gaming, but in the end it's a hell of a lot more work and money and most people aren't going to fool with all of that just for a few extra FPS.
